In the name of the organizing committee I have the privilege and honor to invite you to the Third International Congress for the Egyptian Society for surgery of the Hand and Microsurgery held in Cairo during the period from 5 – 8 April 2010.The congress will be held in the national training institute in Cairo under the topic Elbow and Forearm which is a very interesting topic for both orthopedic and hand surgeons. We invite you all to share and participate in this international congress and interact with a large number of distinguishable national and international hand surgeons. The 5th of April will be a pre-congress hand therapy meeting to focus on basics of hand therapy. It will be a good opportunity for both hand surgeons and hand therapist to meet and share their experience in hand surgery.I welcome you to Egypt and Cairo to enjoy the Nile and the sun. The city of Cairo offers many spectacular sights as the pyramids of Giza and many ancient temples in addition to the Egyptian antiquities museum, all either within or nearby the city. You can also plan a cruise down the Nile to Luxor or fly to the red sea to enjoy scuba diving. I am looking forward to meet you all and hope you to have a very happy and rewarding meeting.
Precongress Hand Therapy
Precongress hand therapy course 5th of April 2010
The aim of organizing a pre congress Hand therapy course is to get the hand surgeons meet with the therapist and talk and discuss different issues in hand surgery. The one day course will cover several topics as tendon surgery, fractures, stiff joints, deformities and splints. We will have international guest speakers in hand therapy together with hand surgeons sharing to put a very interesting program. We wish to invite you all to attend this meeting and participate in the interactive sessions with the faculty hand therapist and the hand surgeons.
