Almost 30 years ago the first Vienna Muscle Symposium held in Vienna 1980 brought together basic scientists and clinicians dedicated to the field of neuromuscular reconstruction for the first time. The intention to provide an open minded platform for exchange of knowledge, ideas and innovations was widely accepted – the Vienna Muscle Symposium evolved into a prosperous international scientific interface. Due to the intermission in 2005 the upcoming 6th International Muscle Symposium shall revive this valuable
chance of open and unlimited discussion, the heartbeat of the „muscle-family“…
We have the great pleasure in inviting you to attend this meeting held in Vienna, September 2-4, 2010 at the Campus of the University of Vienna. As you will realize these courts of the former General Hospital built in the 18th century still emanate the spirit of scientific curiosity and exchange of knowledge in the heart of one of the most fascinating and inspiring cities in the world.
